It’s one thing to have a fabulous listing in the landmark neighborhood of Diamond Head, but it’s another to be featured on a popular TV show in Japan!  How on earth did that happen? It’s all about who you know. As it turns out, the listing agent, Jeff Fox, knows a realtor who is connected to a production company for a popular TV show in Japan. As soon as she saw the property, she knew instantly that the house would be perfect for the show. Jeff said, “She was just blown away by the phenomenal ocean views and the quality of finishes in the house. It has the “WOW” factor. This is exactly what Japanese buyers are looking for in Honolulu – a gorgeous home set in a prestigious neighborhood with killer ocean views, not to mention the huge sauna as an added bonus.

A production crew of 40 staff that included locals as well as staff from Japan showed up with their equipment 3 days before the shoot. They took endless footage of the ocean views and planned out which rooms to photograph with the actors. Then the chef arrived to prepare food for a BBQ which included steak and lobster. This was for the show’s 15th anniversary and they went all out!

Buyers are becoming more discriminating and seeking out properties that have it all… but they’re hard to come by. Jeff’s listing meets that criteria and more. What could be better than an exquisite home situated on the slopes of world renown Diamond Head with incomparable ocean views?  Just ask the Japanese group who visited the home, not to mention the TV show’s loyal following!

We can see Diamond Head behind the house! It’s a spiritual place and we can get mythical energy here.

How much is this property?

Guess A: $7,080,000

Guess B: $12,124,000

The answer is: $9,850,000

Oh, it’s lower than I expected.

Realtor: Actually, the owner decided to reduce the price just before this video shoot. The new price is $8,950,000.

Wow! About $1 million price reduction just for you this time!

It’s a dream home and a paradise. Out of all the 4 properties we saw today, this is the best one!
